Raised garden beds make growing food in your own backyard easy and they are a beautiful addition to the landscape.
In this video, Jonathan shows how he built raised beds out of rough-cut lumber to create beautiful, inexpensive garden beds. We paid 75% less for the rough-cut lumber than we would for standard lumber and the results are stunning!
We filled the beds with organic matter (wood, leaves, wood chips, manure, cardboard, food scraps) that we were able to source locally and topped it off with the soil that we had saved from the existing garden where the raised beds now stand. A few years from now, this garden soil will be incredible.
The treatment that we used to preserve the wood can be purchased on Amazon through this link: Eco Wood Treatment Stain https://amzn.to/2Qf1Scj
